Spandau Ballet's adventure began with club culture, white boys high on soul and funk making electronic dance music and frequenting the legendary underground clubs like Billys and The Blitz but that and quickly evolved into a band who signed a major record deal with a handful of brilliantly catchy pop/dance tunes which instantly propelled them out of their trendy confines to Top Of The Pops.

By the time they released Chant Number 1 they were about to became a huge world-wide success moving from warehouse parties to stadium gigs with all the trappings of 80's pop success. During their career they had 10 top 40 hits including Top 5 classic 'True' which celebrated it's 25th anniversary last year.
