Synopsis
Set on Englands south coast, Foyles War: The Complete Third Season stars Michael Kitchen as the no nonsense Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle, who fights his own battles on the home front while war rages in Europe.
Season 3 of Foyle's War contains four episodes: The French Drop, Enemy Fire, They Fought In the Fields and War of Nerves. The quality that was in Seasons 1 and 2 is also to be found in this season. If you like detective programmes or period drama or anything set in World War II you should enjoy Foyle's War. Michael Kitchen's portrayal of the enigmatic, seemingly mild-mannered Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle couldn't be bettered. The whole series has been, for me and my whole family, a "mustn't miss".
