Milner is finding his feet as the new Detective Inspector in Brightons police force, whilst Sam seems to have lost her sense of purpose along with her uniform. ‘Foyle’s War’ is one of the best series I’ve ever watched. Superb in every respect and eminently re-watchable, so it’s well worth buying the whole series on dvd!
I've watched all 7 series of Foyle's War and I own the first 6 in the series: I'll be buying Series 7 as well. Foyle's War would have to be one of the best TV series made about Britian in WW II. People who lived in the UK during the war will tell you how well the writer of Foyle's War managed to capture the essence of the times. While each program is usually a complete story within itself, there are other interesting sub plots running through each series. The acting, the scenery and the plots are totally brilliant.
