A grieving mother, Telly Paretta, is struggling to cope with the loss of her 9-year-old son. This movie had me curious for a while but as it went on i got more and more disapointed, i thought it was going to go on to have an amazing ending, i respect the peopole that can make an enidng like this that keeps you guessing but i thought in this situation it really really sucked, still soome people liked it
pretty cool to an extent, kind of confused me, but there were some pretty cool parts that got me by shock and nearly gave me a heart attack, but that might have been because i watched it in the cinema and it was quite loud, all in all a decent movie with an original story line and twist
What is disappointing is that, for a fair chunk of the film, you're wondering whether Julianne Moore is cuckoo or onto something, long before the truth is revealed... but the previews and trailers pretty much blew the story for us...
It is slow moving, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great science fiction, with a strong sense of the importance of nurture and love (and mothers!). Like a thoughtful Twilight Zone episode...
a very very silly movie that has a bunch of alternate endings which suggests that the film makers could never really make up there mind. has a good twist which surprises you but at the same time makes you think wow thats kind of lame. jullianne moore is ok but the movie overall is something that doesnt really require great in depth analysis as its just another hollywood thriller that doesnt add anything to the genre and doesnt break and conventions or rules.
I thought this was a pretty stupid movie where some aliens are testing humans and a mother knows somehtings going awry when she is missing her son, so she asks a guy she is sure she remembers about his daughter and he says he nev er had one, she oushes him til he rembers and they 2gether have a cry
A woman grieving the death of her son in a plane crash is unable to function normally but when all traces of her son begin to disappear - and people begin to deny his existence her tenuous grip on reality slips before she finds finds someone else in the same situation. Its a movie that really shouldn't work, but its strangely compelling.
