Of course, shortly thereafter, the mob comes to ask for a favor. E. Peterbus Unum It's tax refund season, and everyone's cashing in except Peter! Tired of watching his neighbours buy expensive toys, Peter decides to get an accountant that can net him a profit and announces to the family that he's going to use the money to put in a pool. While excitement at the Griffin house grows, Peter goes to get a building permit. He's shocked to learn that the city codes do not allow swimming pools. Outraged, Peter digs deeper (so to speak) and learns that the county has no record of his land. Armed with this new info, Peter decides to declare his land a country and make himself the president!
The Story on Page One After an interview at Brown University, Meg realizes she needs more extra-curricular activities to gain entrance to this prestigious school. When the article is published it creates a sensation, and Meg and Peter soon become embroiled in a headline-grabbing lawsuit when Luke sues them for defamation of character.
Wasted Talent When the local brewery has a contest offering tours of the plant, Peter and his friends go on a drinking binge trying to find the winning beer can. Though a stroke of dumb luck, Peter and Brian actually find one of the winning "scrolls". In a Willy Wonka homage, Peter and Brian start the tour, but are quickly kicked out after breaking the rules. Meanwhile, Lois's students have a big piano prodigy recital/competition coming up - but, after working Ling, her piano prodigy too hard, she drops out. In an odd twist, Peter - in a drunken stupor over being booted from the contest - sits down at the piano at the piano and plays brilliantly. Lois is thrilled and keeps Peter drunk long enough to win the piano recital.

SO impressed is he with the accountant's skills, that he tries to convince Lois that Chris should become Jewish to make him smarter. When Lois refuses, Peter is forced to runaway to Las Vegas to get Chris a quickie Bar mitzvah. Peter is pursued by a bus load of angry nuns after they detect his entry into a synagogue. Lois catches up with Chris and stops his conversion and they conclude that a person's religious is no guarantee of success, the nuns do not agree.

15 episodes of Peter Griffen doing weird things is hilarious!
In Season 2, the Griffen family face a load of new family dilemmas including a peeing problem with Brian, Peter's addiction to liposuctions and Meg having a ruin in with the law when Peter accidently writes an article about Luke Perry, with Meg as the author.
Also, Peter and Brian embark on a Willy Wonka inspired brrewery contest - much like the chocolate factory - only with beer. While this is happening, the talkative fella we call Stewie gets kidnapped by a band of mutants!

Another great 'adults only' style of cartoon, which certainly isn't the type of viewing you want your seven year old to be viewing. It is funny, crude and hilarious, and well worth getting. Whilst I must admit that it isn't for all audiences (some will find it downright insulting), is is well worth getting if you like a good laugh.

You should really buy this!! I would but I can't afford it so that's why I'm writing reviews! I reckon this is one of the greatest animated comedies around.. it pushes the envelope and is definitely "uncensored and unsuitable for children" like it says on the case but that's why we love it right?

I love this show, season two is perhaps the best season, more offensive than season one, maybe even more so then the other seasons. My favourite anyway, especially the episode where Stewie gets kidnapped by a group of freaks/mutants (just whatever you'd call them). Every episode is hilarious. I suggest buying this with all of the other seasons.

funny. rude. ruder than season one. i'm a bit worried about dog-human relations since watching this show. stuey is the best character on the show while like the simpsons peter is an idiot and lois is the stable one, until she isn't. wasted on late night tv here, although i don't know how it would go in family viewing prime time

A highly addictive show, this is a season that you will watch countless times. With humour that breaks all the PC friendly barriers, Family Guy gives The Simpsons and South Park a run for their money. If you've only seen one episode and liked it, then that's more than enough reason to pick this up.

Family guy follows in its pre-decessors foot steps, with Peter being an idiot, Meg being a drama queen, and Stewie continuing with his hilarious world domination comments. As well as his attempts to kill the matriach of the family, the one he calls "Lois", not Mum. I would love to hear how they others hear Stewies rambling, because i have never met such a smart 1 year old.
