This is an excellent exercise dvd.
First the instructor isn't super annoying, as they sometimes are, I often get up and do the dvd first thing in the morning and she doesn't grate on my nerves even then.
The workout itself last for approximately 40-50 minutes. Starting with light stretching, then standing foot work using a chair to get your legs warmed up. Then you move onto more active foot and leg work and then to jump training - by the end of which I am usually sweating. Then you finish off with a killer ab series and then some stretches. The work out is doable for those who haven't done ballet before or people, like me, who used to when they were younger.
A great exercise dvd - lots of work for the legs and abs, and a great way to tone up your body.

This is an excellent DVD. This DVD is approx. 50 minutes long and is comprised of movements based on ballet with a bit of pilates inspired work towards the end. It hurts (of course in a good way). Although while doing it it seems quite easy and relaxed but you feel it in the thighs the next day. I have never done ballet, or any dancing for that matter before, but after the second/third time of doing this exercise I have no problems with understanding the "technical terms" and mostly keeping up with the instructor.

This DVD is a great work out for the legs and opening up the hips. There is a lot of bending to the ground and lifting and doing circles with your legs. After a few tries you will really notice an increase in your leg strength and flexibility.
