Synopsis
Ben Affleck is Matt Murdock, a.k.a Daredevil. As a young boy he lost his sight in a chemical accident, which left him with his other senses superhumanly enhanced (and some incredible acrobatic skills). Flash forward and Matt is working by day as a pro bono lawyer (with partner Jon Favreau) and by night as a righteous avenger. The plot sees New York supercriminal Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) calling on Irish assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell) to take care of some business involving the father of Jennifer Garner's Elektra (with whom Matt falls head over heels in love). Daredevil is a shadowy comic book fantasy that provides plenty of fast-paced, high-kicking action.

I was quite taken with this movie, surprisingly. Both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck excell in their roles. The storyline is a bit ho-hum but in all the movie is a cracker. Nice work. Good action. What more could you ask for? I would rate this movie with a total of three point seven stars, however I am rounding it up to 4 stars.
I wants not a big fan when i heard Daredevil. but once watching it i was stuck i loved the way that he can see but being blind it has no effect. this movie was great. highly recommend for the video collection loved it great movie Jeniffer Gardner does a awsome job.
to be honest, pretty bad, i should have guessed this when ben aflicted-with-bad-actings name was put on the film, the specail effects budget was that big he was the only person they could afford, apart from being bad the disc made a good mirror for the budgie and the case poses as a good prank gift for friends
After the success of Spider-Man and X Men, the rights to comic books were snatched up by studios left and right. The comics were instantly converted to screenplays and carelessly thrown on the big screen, flooding the markets with rushed, and frankly, crap films. Daredevil is better than these, but still should have been nothing more than a direct to video film, enjoyed as a rainy Sunday afternoon kind of film. There's nothing on offer here that hasn't been done before, and while it has a better attempt at being done right than others, it still suffers from a lacking of imagination.
Just another cool movie with ben afflick. He plays his part really well in the movie, it is not to over the top extreme like all of the current movies out and is well plotted. This also features hotty jennifer something i forgot her last name, and shes reall hot. Funny that ben goes out with her in real life. This is a decent movie but nowhere near as good as say....spiderman
Ok. Thats what the DareDevil film is. It was darker than Spider-Man yes, but not as good. THIS Director's Cut, however, makes the film good. Before you judge DareDevil, see both cuts: the theatrical and this Director's "should-ha…but-isn't" For starters, THIS film is rated... R. The fight scenes are more intense, the film is MUCH darker, (a-la Frank Miller) and there's a few swears. So, THIS is the film to see. Watch both for the sake of seeing the difference.
man this movie is so violent! its pretty much violent scene after violent scene, and my mother hated it. this told of a blind man, and elecktra, and their meeting and having to fight the evil bulls eye in hells kitchen, new york. colin farell played an excellent bad guy, really believable. once you get past the violence, this movie doesnt really have much going for it.
Daredevil is a very good movie! I enjoyed the movement of Daredevil when he jumps from top roof to bottom street. It was great to see Colin Farrell playing as Bullseye, he is one of my favourite actor. He looked so cool to be a very bad man. 4 out of 5 stars!
As I titled this, I really enjoyed the movie since I am comic nerd, but I rated this as a 5 out of 10. I got the Directer's Cut for Christmas and OH MY GOD it made this movie so much better. The subplot with Coolio really rounds out the character's of Matt and Foggy and little scenes added back in here and there like Matt's rituals after patrol and in the morning, and the extended version of him and Elektra on the roof before the rain made part of the ending make more sense. One thing I really enjoyed was the additional time to developing the Kingpin and making him really seem like a bad guy helped a lot. All in all whoever made the call to cut all this stuff from the movie should be fired from the studio because the theatrical release was a butchery and a farce. I felt bad having to admit that I didn't like the movie too much at first, but now I can tell people how much it kicked a$$ (didn't know if curses were allowed).
GREAT movie, definitly worth checkign otu for any one who likes super hero movie like eht espider mans and xmens, the directors cut version is much better because it includes all the stuff the director had cut for cinemas and not as a special feature but as part of the film
