I loved this movie as a kid and the scene of the Banshee did scare me but its all a bit of fun. As a grown up I can now appreciate the story better including the love scene with Sean Connery. Gotta love those leprechauns!!

The is an amusing Irish folklore fantasy story about a storyteller Darby O'Gill who is searching for the inevitable Pot of Gold and King of the Lepreachauns King Brian and twists and turns that is encountered.
This also stars a very young Sean Connery. Has some great magical effects. There are some small pieces of scary moments; so I would not let children to young watch. Otherwise I found this movie enjoyable.

This is quite an old movie about leprechauns. I saw it when I was a kid and was actually quite scared by certain scenes that had banshees in them and this put me off the movie. I would recommend it for ages 10 and up. It's not bad and as long as you don't mind watching a movie that looks old, it can be quite fun.
