When i first heard about this movie, i was sceptical. I thought 'is this just another movie to rake in the money, get back two actors who have worked together before.'. then i saw the movie and all my doubts went out the window. Sandra Bullock and Keanu reaves in this movie are very well cast, and are a must see together in this movie. it combines drama, romance with just that very subtle hint of Sci-Fi, to make one amazing movie.

Very good movie held you in suspense, wanting to know how they would finally meet. Would recommend for light entertainment

The idea of falling in love through letters is so romantic. I loved this movie, it was refreshing to see something that was based around getting to know one another first as friends. You have to watch it a few times to appreciate it fully I think.

I love this movie. I must admit it does pay to see it more than once so that you can piece it all together.

I love the way they fall in love, not all gushy more like the real thing, so many movies now are so cheesy and based on fairytales.

I am a huge fan of Keanu anyway and think that Sandra and him act wonderfully together.

Take time out to watch it, just dont analyse the hows and whys.

I absolutely love the concept of two people falling in love, and I especially love the concept of two people who would under normal circumstances never even cross paths, and then falling in love. Like all good romance movies, nothing is as expected and I absolutely love the idea of this movie, where these two great people fall in love over a great divide of time. Never meeting, but corresponding to one another thru letters posted thru the letter box of the lake house.

However, having said that, I'm afraid Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves just didn't quite have that chemistry that you look for in a romance of the ages. Loved the concept of the movie, but just didn't see the chemistry of the two lead characters. 3 stars out of 5

This is one of my favourite movies of all time. Although logically it is full of holes and you find yourself thinking - that is just not possible - or why did she not just look in the phone book. But if you ignore all that and see it at face value it is a very beautiful love story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I liked this movie because it is different to the norm whirlwind romances we see on film SO much today. It is rather confusing in some parts - why is he two years behind? Also, supposing it is reality, how can the future be changed?
I did like that there were some unusual aspects to the movie and some unexpected twists to the plot. It was great to see Keanu and Sandra in a movie together.

This is a beautiful love story, full of will they wont they. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves work well together in this sweet tale, and the lake house is stunning. I really enjoyed this, and was pleasantly surprised. I completely recommend this to any one wanting to watch a light romance that isn't cheesy.
