My daughter & I both read all the books and fell in love with the series. I think anyone who is a hopeless romantic will definately be drawn into the Twilight world. First showing of the movie I wasn't a 100% sure how I felt. I had certain ideas and thoughts in my mind and came out with mixed emotions. My daughter on the other hand who is 11 and a huge Edward Cullen fan loved it beyond a doubt. So we decided to go and see it again the next day and I'm so glad I did. I too fell in love with it and have watched it numerous time and now am a member of Twilightmoms for all us Mums out there who also love Twilight. I think the casting was superb and although I doubted Robert's performance first time around after reading Midnight Sun on the author's site, it made me realise he was playing the role through Edward's eyes not Bella's as in the book and I found I had a whole new appreciation for his acting skills. Now I can't imagine any other actors playing the parts. I'm so excited New Moon is about to start filming and our Twilight journey can continue. I think a lot of people had no idea Twilight was shot with just 37 million dollars compared to Harry Potter whose first movie way back when was shot for over $100 million. I think for the amount of money in their budget and knowing the actors did so many of their own stunts just makes it all the more special somehow. Roll on New Moon we say in this house.... Go TEAM EDWARD.

I saw the movie first and loved the movie, went and bought all 4 books the next day i fell in love with the books i read them all in 4 days, i have now seen the movie atlease 6 times the books became very addictive that you couldn't put i down.

I saw the movie before reading the books and I aboslutely loved the movie so much I went out the next day and bought all 4 books and read them within the next 2 weeks. The movie has a great feel is very intresting and is quite funny in some parts. It is to hard for me to decide what I loved best the movie or the books, I think only time will tell when the other movies come out.
The soundtrack to Twilight is also great - there is not one song I don't like that I have to forward to the next one.

I saw this movie before reading any of the books. I hadn't even heard of Twilight before! he movie translates what some might call the 'soul' of the books relatively well if you're into this style of film. It is an enjoyable movie to watch if you are fans of the series or new to story. At times plot and acting can seem a little strained and forced but the movie remains a good one for the collection. With the extra disc also has some nice little bonuses too which is always good. :)

This movie is exceptionally unbelievable to watch. It is a must see. Cant wait for Eclipse!

I wasnt happy with my purchase because when I opened my package it wasnt the limited edition of twighlight it was just the other one and becuase it was xmas newyear I have just left it but no I wasnt impressed. for getting the wrong disc.

Great value and great service from Fishpond. I love the whole vampire mythology, but much prepfer the hot vamps portrayed in The Vampire Diaries, but think Rob Pattinson is a perfect Edward and is pretty hot. The books were pretty good and I loved Rob Pattinson in this movie - it took me while to get over the sparkle in the sun stuff, though, but this film is pretty true to the book. New moon was ok, but that's b'cos I prefer vampires over warewolves (and Rob over Taylor). I'm a 35yr old mum of a 3 yr old and my husband doesn't get all this vampire stuff and calls me a Twi-hard...but I maintain I'm a Vampire Diaries fan more than a twi-hard.

Well, when i was first introduced to Twilight it was through the movie, but after watching the movie I decided to read the book. Then I found out that my opinion had changed and i would have to say with this movie the book is better, but with New Moon i reckon that the movie is better.

LOVED this movie, it was a great film and the actors chosen to play the parts of Edward and Jacob were perfect. HOT HOT HOT! i would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in these kind of movies. The ending keeps you wanting more which is in a way really annoying. Loved how fast Fishpond sends your items too, i got mine within a couple of days of making my order, which is great service!
