This film will remain timeless. It covers not only a boy who wants to dance but also explores the social circumstances of his family, the question of what masculinity is and the relationships that evolve between fathers and sons.
This film is highly recommended.
This was a very emotional movie. About Billy Elliot, who wanted to be a ballet dancer, but felt the pressure of his father wanting him to be a boxer. It was a great story and really heart warming and they portrayed the character of Billy very well, his feelings and his emotions. Good movie this is.
this is a great movie about a boy wishing to become a ballet dancer. unsure if id call it a comedy though. some good acting by this young boy, who surely has a great future ahead of him. some great inspirational scenes in here make for really good watching. this is one of those absolute must see movies!
this movie is really original and it is loved by alot of people including myself. it follows the journey of a young boy who learns and loves to dance. you see his struggles and obstacles and overall it makes for one emotional movie. this is great to watch with friends on a quiet night in or on a rainy afternoon.

I really really enjoyed this movie. It surprised me because I didn’t think that it was going to be any good. I think tat many people will enjoy watching this and it is a great buy and a great watch for all. I loved every minute of it from the very start to the very end.
An eleven year old coal miner's son becomes fascinated by ballet despite the far from positive reactions he gets from the people around him. This is one of those movies that everyone seemed to love, but it didn't do a lot for me. It is extremely earnest and rather dour and a bit on the coldly manipulative side.
