A extremely poor remake of the original movie. The lead actor speaks in a very broad and full Australian accent throughout the movie whilst everyone else doesn't which makes it less creditable. Also the special effects in this movie are extremely poor the mythical monsters look really fake and animated. The medusa creature is heavily animated in recent block buster movies uma thurman played a very realistic medusa without having to use heavy animation. A very poor film even the kids didn't enjoy it.
