To be fair, this isn't my usual taste but I gave it a watch at a friends house with her young daughter, and found myself really enjoying it. Cinderella Story is an inoffensive modern take on the Cinderella story and is very well done. I liked the fact that it stars one of the few current Hollywood starlets that hasn't got herself in trouble - and she comes across as very down to earth and likeable character who young girls could relate to on a real world level. The story is quite charming and you can't help but like all of the characters - including those who are supposed to be the bad guys. This isn't the most intellectual movie out there, but it also isn't typical saccarine teen rubbish either. A pretty enjoyable film and one which certainly won't alienate your little girl (or boy).

This is a great movie which I would recommend for all you Hilary Duff lovers out there.
This is a movie which inspires you in a wierd sort of way.
It is about a girl whos father dies and she is left to live with her step mum. Her step mother is horrible to her and makes her do everything. The end of this movie is a happy one and its quite sad at some points in the movie.
This is a must watch and im sure that anyone who watches it will like it as well.

based on you guessed it- Cinderella. Sam was daddy's little girl, that is until her dad married the evil stepmother and then died in an earthquake. Now sam is all gorwn up and the slave of the family. She has the smarts, the looks but is a social outcast as she works in her stepmother's diner. Her ambition is to go to a prestigious school, but can she? and what happens when she falls for a charmng guy over i.m.ing? Is he the guy of her dreams?

A modern take on a classic story, Hillary does a great job as the down-trodden teen who just needs a break. This movie is an enjoyable romantic comedy, has a great story, and it is one that both the kids and the adults can safely watch. It does seem to have an awesome sound-track to it too!

As usual in all Hilary Duff movies, the crying scenes are the best part! Heartwrenching and full of emotion: this girl sure can act. This story may not have pumpkin carriages or magic wands but is a real life drama that all can relate to. There are funny scenes and scenes of pure girl power and inspiration. A good family movie.

A fantastic interpretation of an age old classic. This movie has it all, with a modern spark.

Every aspect of the original story has been taken into account and even added to.

But also, for the guys, hot chicks galore, and for the girls, fit AND soulful blokes.

A rockin' soundtrack and slick feel to the whole film, with the obligatory heart-wrenching sorrow of our heroine's father's death and the hatred (oh, such hatred!) of the wicked step- mom, what more do you need for today's Cinderella lovin' breed.

A great film to be enjoyed by the whole family.

Massive thumbs up from OUR whole family.

This movie is hilarious. I have never laughed so much ever. It has great acting, affects, dialogue, and especially superb humour – everything you need in a great movie. The movie does have a few scenes that drag out but all in all it’s a must have for all comedy fans and is suitable for basically all ages. It’s a must have, so buy it – You will definitely won’t be disappointed. Great!!!!!…!!!!!!!!!!

a great girly chick flick, very enjoyable. hilary duff it great as this role, and all the acting is fantastic. a real feel-good film, great for sleepovers or a night in with the girls. this movie will be a definite hit with you if you enjoy romantic chick flicks, and dont mind a bit of predictable endings, as most of hilary duffs movies are. a great watch, definitely buy it!

gosh!! i really loved this movie! every bit and second of it! it has a great moral and message. its about a girl who has this cinderella type of fairy tale with a moder twist in it. she lives with her step mom and step sisters when her dad died.she also fall inlove with the hottest, popular guy at school.

i recommend this movie hundred percent! im sure you and the girls would love this flick and also the family. it will make you smile and will make your heart flutter.

its good for any age person to wacht. its very romantic . yo uwont get sick of it.
the story its good with a good ending to it. they choose a good actor to paly the rolles.
a perfect movie to wacht at any time.
