A kinda fun little film that will have the kiddies in hysterics. It is a great combination of cgi and live action that makes the dogs and cats realistically speak :D Its an epic battle between feline and canine in a bid to take over the world - or to stop taking over the world... a bit of each, really. A decent picture, if only for the great cgi!

What a stupid movie. I thought I might like this movie, with its plethora of dogs and cats, but really it's a boring movie where they are staging a senseless war on each other. Exactly why is never explained. This is an intensely stupid movie, especially in the parts where the human characters are involved. Don't bother watching it. It's probably also scary for very young children. If you like animals, watch some other movie.

This movie, although cheesy with its jokes and plot, is surprisingly entertaining. It shows an imaginary and fictional world of cats & dogs functioning like CIA agencies and notorious villians. There are some amusing allusions and jokes and the special effects are as horrible as you would expect. Good for little kiddies.

Cats & Dogs sounds like a great concept on paper, but the film itself is, well, a bit flat, though it is amusing in parts, like the way that half the film is CG and the other half is paws on sticks. And the evil Persian cat is very cool. Why dogs get to be the good guys is beyond me (because cats are of course the greatest animal ever to grace the Earth), but all in all, a fun movie still.

pretty good movie, i dont really go for animal ones but this one was actually quite well thought out, and of course had some great special effects. my nana did not like it however, so if you are not a fan of loud and excitn movies then you will probably not like this one. an interesting outcome at the end, a bit predictable but still good.

The special effects in this movie are fantastic, you really believe these animals are talking. A great movie for all members of the family. The movie is about the war between cats and dogs, and it is a really entertaining. It cracks some hilarious jokes and all the characters are very adorable. Especially the cute little kittens which turn out to be ninjas. It is a fun movie and one the kids will get a real kick out of.

Cats and Dogs is a very interesting movie. It follows a puppy called Lou when he is taken to a new house and there is a cat who is watching out for him. The movie is cute and funny. It follows the war between cats and dogs and it has some very funny scenes and is very comedic. I really enjoyed the movie as an adult and the kids really enjoyed watching the movie too

When the unlucky pup, Lou (voice provided by Tobey Maguire), finds himself selected for a new home, he is quite happy. However, Lou was not supposed to go to that home. It seems that the eccentric Professor Brody (played by Jeff Goldblum) is working on a formula that will end allergies to dogs. However, the evil cat, Mr. Tinkles (Sean Hayes) will stop at nothing to seize the Brody's, and it is up to the dog secret agents - and Lou ' to protect them. Is Lou up to the task? Watch and see! [Color, released in 2001, with a running time of 1 hour, 27 minutes.]
This is a very funny movie. It is rated PG, but this is apparently for the violence between the cats and dogs, which is carried on in a cartoonish manner that no one in my family found disturbing. Instead, the whole clan enjoyed this hilarious movie, and we all highly recommend it to you and your family!

When I went to the sneak preview of this, I was hoping for the kind of humor Shrek had, hilarious for people of all ages. I found Shrek to be one of the funniest movies I have seen all year, this wasn't.
It was full of childish humor, and really had nothing at all to give to people who are over the age of 10, except celebrity voices and a few funny covert spy lines. If you are 10 and under, go see it, if not I don't think you would find that much to it.
