This is one of my favourite movies of 2007! It really shows, how two un-popular kids come together and create a friendship and use their imagination to escape to a new world! Just when you think everything is perfect, something happens to one of the characters and you see a change between the characters and how they react!
Very good ataptation of the book by the same name, which was one of my favourite childhood books. I was nervous this would change things, but it was surprisingly close to the book, and managed to be the really touching story about friendship, loss and siblinghood, just like the original book. I was sceptical of the cast too at first but they all performed well. Terabithia was done well too. Overall I really appreciated this version of a classic story.
Bridge to Terabethia is a tragic, yet wonderful creation of a film, based on the popular novel.
It tells the story of a new girl, Lesley Burke, who moves in up the road from Jess, the boy she soon befriends. and creates an imaginary world with in the forest and landscape... With great acting (I've had coaching from the lady who coached the main girl in this movie!), Bridge to Terabethia is a fantastic, but tragic classic of friendship, loss, imagination, and true skill behind and in front of the camera. Excellent film. Brilliant screenplay. 10/10. Don't miss; It will inspire you, young or old...
This movie shows the friendship of a by and girl, who are living in their on fantasy world. It has some great animation features but I missed the fantasy because it got a raw deal.
Furthermore this movie is quite tragic and not something for people who are waiting for a fantasy movie with many action and a happy ending.
