Great movie, , loved the book although don't waste your money buying this in HD. By far the worst Blu-ray or HD DVD that I have watched. Extremely dated, dirt present and doesn't look HD at all, just looks like a badly upscaled DVD. At first I thought it was in SD, it was that bad. Great movie, but awful disc.

yes it looks better but do we have to now throw away all our dvds like we did our videos? This is so crap! There isnt much in the realm of extras either, not if you already had the Dvd.
And the movie is a beautiful pre raphealite painting in motion.
Oldman delivers a fantastic performance that we are aware created a bunch of gothic wannabee's with bad hairdoos, and Winona is laughable but charming as Mina. Pity about Keanu, he is just a jerk here, really.
