Not as good as the first 4 movies, doesn't have the "comicy" fun feel to it. Other than that it's a good Hollywood block buster.

For a batman movie, this one is pretty good. Christian Bale is exceptional in the role of batman (they always choose good actors for the role of batman.) This movie is a lot darker and less jokey than the older batman movies. Less kid friendly and more grown up. Small children will probably be frightened when watching it.

Even though alot of people where calling this a sequel (they are wrong)
This movie is a complete reboot/overall of the batman movie franchise especially with the last couple of attempts, where they failed batman begins comes out on top with a great origin tale of how bruce becomes teh dark knight of gotham.
Would defiantly recommend picking this up - it's the best comic book movie released so far in my eyes.
I give it a solid 10/10

Batman Begins is a well told story of the origin of Bruce Wayne/Batman (Christian Bale). It covers a lot of the same ground as Michael Keaton's original Batman, but goes much further in depth in many factors of his creation. It goes into great detail about subjects such as how he got his costume, what exactly it is. Same goes with the Batmobile. We also find out why he chose to be bat-like.

too be quite honest i never really loved this film and i wasnt really a big fan of batman. i was more of the cartoon side of batman. yeah like what that person said below i too was disappointed i never really saw the plot and the story was quite cliche. it was prety bad.
When fate prevents him from avenging the deaths of his parents, young Bruce Wayne (Bale) flees to Asia where he seeks counsel from a dangerous ninja cult leader known as Ra's al Ghul (Watanabe). When he returns, Bruce finds that Gotham City has become overrun with crime and corruption, and that there are forces at work trying to remove him from his inherited place as the owner of Wayne Industries. Discovering a cave under Wayne Manor, Bruce assumes a new identity as a secret detective and guardian of the people of Gotham City against the criminals that plague them

i was pretty dissapointed with this movie. it wasnt what i was expecting at all - it was more like how batman became who he was, which i guess is stated in the title, but it still was nothing like the other batman films. dont really recommend it, but as i can see some other viewers enjoyed it so i guess it just depends on the viewer. i guess it would be a good entertainment for some, just not my cup of tea.

A very enjoyable movie which deals with the creation of the Dark Knight himself, starting with Bruce Wayne’s childhood, and the death of his philanthropist parents at the hands of a criminal. The settings are all wonderful and very evocative, with Gotham City especially terrifically dark and gloomy-looking. The costume designs are a complete departure from previous movies, but they look amazing. The acting is also very good by most parties; Christian Bale is an awesome Batman/Bruce Wayne, and brings a dignity and sensitivity to the role that’s wonderful. Liam Neeson and Gary Oldman are also great at supporting. Katie Holmes was rather stiff and unconvincing though. The plot was dark and exciting, the action sequences were great and in all, it was a wonderful film that is quite clearly the best Batman film to date.

After Tim Burton gave up the reigns to the Batman films they pretty much went straight downhill, so it is great to see that Batman has been stripped back to the core and started all over again. Not really a remake or a sequal, Batman Begins should be held seperate to the other films. Quite long, but filled with vital information on just how Bruce Wayne learned to fight and come up with his many devices, Batman Begins is a must see movie for any fans of Btman or superheroes in general.
