Firstly this is Blu-ray so will need a compatible player.Band of Brothers is a cut above every other war movie/series with the possible exception of "Saving Private Ryan".I loved every episode with my favourite two being the ones set in Bastogne - Battle of the bulge.The research that went into this is spectacular as every thing looks as it should be.The Tiger 1s are Tigers and not Walker Bulldogs.The Blu-ray also includes many interviews with actual members of Easy Company and these fellows really set the mood.Very very highly recommended

This is what a decent budget, strong production values and quality film-making personnel can get you in a miniseries. Fine drama and riveting action. As to the blu-ray: this is definitely the best way to see Band of Brothers, but not by a great margin; the audio is excellent, however, at its best in thoroughly involving gunfights. Totally recommended.
