American Pie is, hands down, the funniest movie I have ever seen. The first time I saw it, I nearly had a heart attack from laughing so hard. Even today, I still crack up at various scenes and soundbites. Of all the films that attempt to portray teenage sexuality, this one comes closest.

this movie is absolutely hilarious! the first time that I saw it I couldnt not contain my laughter! though, i must admit that the humour is a little bit more for teenagers, and possibly the occasional(male) adult, lol. this is a definatley a film that you want your young childrent to be watching. but is is definatley something that I would reccomend to teenagers! american pie rox!

This movie sickens me, no joke, it really does.
Something about these steretypical teen comedies annoys me, perhaps it's their lack of clever humor, or the way they stereotype guys and girls, theres allways the popular ones and the unpopular ones, this movie is about a group of popular ones, with one thing on their mind...sex.
Now c'mon, not all guys are like that, the girls in this movie are also steretyped just as badly. A few funny bits here and there, but this movie is just a bunch of awkward teenage situations that follow each other. I hate it.

One of the best teen comedies of the past decade, American Pie may have a fair heaping of crude gross out jokes, but it also succeeds as an exploration of teen romance, even if does veer on mysognism at times. Jason Biggs is charming as the central character, and Eugene Levy also amuses as his awkward father trying to tell him about the birds and the bees, always in the most embarassing ways possible.

One of the first of many teen comedies to come out in it's time, American Pie is about 4 guys who make a pack to lose their virginity by the end of prom nite. Funny and gross, quite often at the same time, American Pie is a hilarious movie that must be seen by those who have seen the sequels but never the original.

At a high-school party, four friends (Jim, Kevin, Finch, and Oz) find that losing their collective virginity isn't as easy as they had thought. But they still believe that they need to do so before college. To motivate themselves, they enter a pact to try to be the first to "score." And of course, the senior prom is their last best chance. As the fateful date draws near, the boys wonder who among them will get lucky. More importantly, do they really want to do it at all?

It was an ok movie - I really did not understand what the fuss is about. It seemed to me to be almost like a budget teen movie, which overcompensates with crude jokes and sight gags. That said, I wouldn't be completely adverse to watching it.... provided there's nothing decent to watch on television.

Boring teen comedy that is neither funny or interesting. Part three is better. the cast is ordinary and so is the script. It is overrated and ordinary. But, better than Porky's which is a crap classic.
It stars a cast of bad actors (Tara Reid, Shannon Elizabeth, Jason Biggs, Chris Klein), average actors (Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan) and good actors (Mena Suvari, Eugene Levy).
It's not great, but if your a teenager, than you have to watch it because everyone else has. Just don't watch it with your parents.
It's too crude to like, but it's classic status shows it must been seen only once.

this is a real cult classic, and is the beginning of the teen gross out flicks, where the producers used sex humour to get laughs. a nice message was in this movie, though it was buried under the dozens of sexual jokes. euegene levy stars as jims dad, and is really a stand out role in my opinion, he is just so amazingly funny!
