Nintendo's Wii has long been the family console of choice when it comes to parties and get-togethers. What's more, instead of focusing on a TV screen the whole time, Wii Party encourages social activity between family and friends.
Over 13 different party modes are on offer here, each with a different gameplay scenario that requires the mastery of over 70 minigames to win. Board Game Island is one good example of this ? a mode that puts up to four players on a virtual world full of squares, and has friends rolling dice to reach the end of the map. Along the way, you'll be challenged to compete in one of the many mini-games on offer.
Some of these involve co-operation ? such as bouncing falling fruit into the correct boxes ? while others are more competitive ? like having to pick up as many Mii characters in a helicopter as possible. Shooting cans, passing bombs without violently shaking the Wii Remote and balancing people on a pirate ship are among the types of mini-games you can expect to experience.

This games is very similar to the more older wii play, but clearly by reading the description above, there are so many more games and it looks like a game that is a lot better, and a lot more funner when you are playing this with other people. I would definetly recommend this game if you have recently bought a wii, as this come with a remote, and it is much cheaper buying both of these in a bundle than individually.
