Late spring 2009, and the sequel to Hudson Entertainment's Sports Island arrives at UK retail. Sports Island 2 (a fitting name for a sequel if ever we heard one) features 10 new activities to get you feeling all summery and sporty! Mogul Skiing, Motorcycle Road Racing, Dodgeball, Ice Hockey, Tennis, Kendo, Synchronised Swimming, Darts, Speed Skating and Petanque are the sports on offer this time around. Up to four players can take part in this selection of fun games.
Intuitive gameplay is the order of the day with the Wii Nunchuk playing a big part in proceedings in sports such as Dodgeball, Ice Hockey, Speed Skating and Mogul Skiing. The Wii Remote is held in the style of a big, fat dart when you step up to the virtual oche, and Tennis, Motorcycle Road Racing and Petanque make full and innovative use of the motion sensor technology.
Whether you fancy taking on all 10 sports with your five-member team in League Mode, competing at a single sport in Tournament Mode, or configuring the game rules as you please in Open Match Mode, Sports Island 2 is sure to have something for you to get all hot, sweaty and competitive about!
