I have this game for Wii. I'm not really a fan of Sonic games (not familiar with them) but I still enjoyed this one. It was interesting how it used the Wii remote and nunchuck, though there aren't an awful lot of things you can do with them. The plot line is about Sonic going back in time and having to become a medival night. It was entertaining enough but I found it hard to move on to the next part of the story sometimes. Also it's quite annoying when you miss something and have to go back to an earlier checkpoint and repeat your last moves. Overall it's not a bad game for the Wii though, there are some weak offerings out there and this one isn't as bad as many.
