Absolutely outstanding game. Quality is surpassing that achieved with GTAIV both from a technical and narrative viewpoint. It is easy to spend hours exploring the wilderness. The world is beautifuly rendered with a sense of distance which you can see, but might take you 15 to 20 miniutes to actually reach on horseback. The action scenes are visceral and satisfying. The use of the genre is superb, with all the expected Western conventions both revisited and expanded. After recently completing a subject at university regarding Western cinema, I have watched countless westerns and would put this game on par with the classics of cinema in the genre. Superb.

Surprised noones reviewed this yet, It's MEAN. It's along the same lines of Gun if you've played that. but it's definitely better graphics and gameplay wise. It's almost like Grand theft auto but you play as billy the kid, the actual feeling of the game and its interaction makes it intensely deep. worth playing atleast once!
