Prototype is a good game for button mashing. The game play in this is addictive, what’s not to love about growing some huge metal claws or turning your entire body into bio-rock and smashing some mutants? My favourite part of this game is the open world. The story is there but not very interesting, I finished the game without knowing why I was doing what I was doing, I simply followed objectives and wasn’t interested in the main characters or overall plot.
I did enjoy stylishly navigating the apocalyptic Manhattan island location the game is set in. there is nothing cooler than jumping from rooftop to roof top (well perhaps falling to the ground and creating a huge explosion throwing everything in your vicinity flying). All in all, this a favourite game of mine for when I feel like breaking things, even with the dull storyline I had a lot of fun with this game and continue to.
