The classic board game, Pictionary, can now be taken on the road with this version on the Nintendo DS. The object of the game is to convey words and phrases using only the power of the pencil - or in this case, the stylus. Link up with friends in wireless play to get involved in some classic gameplay or try your luck against the CPU opponents.
A whole range of colours, drawing styles and shapes can be used to get your point across, and its your teammates job to guess the answer correctly. With over 3,000 clues to play with, suitable for both Junior and Adult games, you won’t tire from this adaptation too quickly.
Of course, what kind of video game doesn’t try to mix things up a little bit? Sure, you can play the classic Pictionary game, but there are a total of 15 ways to play, with a selection of different single-player and multiplayer modes. Play Pictionary Solo and Pictionary Quiz on your own to pass the time in an engaging way, or try Pictionary Mania with either a pass-the-DS approach or using multiple handhelds connected together with up to four teams.
Pictionary Mania in particular includes six new draw modes: Get It Straight, Shape It Up, One Line, Ink Limit, No Peeking and Off Hand. When you’ve finally run out of clues you can create your own ones in the Clue Creator, and if you have a DSi you can take photos of objects and trace them to create unique clues.

I love playing this game, however, it is NOT compatible with my DSi console being this is from overseas. Luckily I have an early version of a DS and it will play on that. I have confirmed thsi is the issue with EB Games!!
I'm not even sure what the point of the create your own drawing/word is. It doesn't game up in regular mode. Pass the DS for a 2 player game is no fun either. Overall, if you love pictionary, and want a digital version, then take my advice, and pay between free to 5 bucks for this, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of you thought even that was a little too much for a game that should be a lot better then this, FROM THQ... they are not amateur game makers, but I guess they should just stick to the sport games and not these kind of games.
