Out of consoles and hand-held games, I usually prefer to play hand-held games. The DS really is a fantastic little console. It isn't as powerful as the PSP, but it has a huge collection of great games (if you can sift through the shovelware) many of which contain many fun-filled hours of entertainment that can be take on the bus, on a long aeroplane flight or just played at home. The touch-screen was a brilliant innovation, it really adds a new layer of depth and creativity into some games.

This 2006 model of the Nintendo DS Lite is a great way to play portable gaming. It is both lighter and more portable than the original model and the only model capable of utilising the guitar/band hero hardware extensions. It includes all the same software as the original DS and is compatible with all games from the previous model. Overall it is a great buy for your money in this great white finish.
