This 2006 model of the Nintendo DS Lite is a great way to play portable gaming. It is both lighter and more portable than the original model and the only model capable of utilising the guitar/band hero hardware extensions. It includes all the same software as the original DS and is compatible with all games from the previous model. Overall it is a great buy for your money in this great Black finish.
A sort of middle ground between the original DS 'fat' and the new DSi. Featuring better screens and a nicer feel than the original DS, the DS Lite is good step up for a very reasonable price compared to the DSi. The DS itself is a fantastic console, by far the best handheld in my opinion. Featuring a huge library of games. Admittadly some are forgettable, but what do you expect? To win some you have to lose some. The sleek black design is very nice and contrasts well against the white original.
Ultra portable with hours of entertainment makes the DS one of best consoles around. Five stars.
