The orders are simple: hunt down and execute a rogue agent that has stolen top-secret intelligence and millions in Agency cash. For agent Rico Rodriguez, the mission is anything but routine. The target is Tom Sheldon, Ricos former commanding officer, mentor and friend; a man who knows Rico better than he knows himself.
Sheldon went dark while operating in the corrupt island nation of Panau. There, three rival gangs wage war in the streets while the ruthless dictator Baby Panay rules the island with an iron fist. With the resources of the Agency at his disposal, Rico must infiltrate the island and locate Sheldon, setting off a violent chain of events that will set Panau ablaze.
Each of Ricos assignments can be tackled by land, sea or air with more than 100 vehicles including tactical jeeps, attack helicopter and jet fighters. As the Agencys best, Rico can execute a range of breathtaking new stunts, utilizing his trademark parachute and upgraded grapple to reach any location in Panau. Somewhere on the 400 square mile island of white sand beaches, scorching deserts and snow-capped peaks, Sheldon awaits.

A great game if you enjoy the open worlds of GTA or other similar games, but don't want to be burdened to troublesome 'realism'. This is just a great fun game which allows you to demolish everything in your sights. The scale of the world is impressive and it is so much fun gliding and grapple-hooking around the world. A brilliant cheap game!
The aiming is sort of assisted. You have to have your cross hairs near an enemy and it kinda locks on. According to the manual you can target specific parts of enemies, but I haven't tried that yet. I enjoyed taking a mounted minigun off its stand and carrying it (it has unlimited ammo, unlike other weapons I have discovered) A lot of objects in the game are destructible, except buildings (in my limited experience so far) Light poles are destructible, however some lights, like on buildings and such can't be destroyed, which isn't a big deal.
A truly wonderful action adventure game. This game is much like a Matthew Reilly novel in some respects. The action is utterly ridiculous, yet pure fun. The grapple is a joy to use in combat and there is also a wide range of weaponry to choose from. Also, players can drive a huge amount of vehicles, both land bound and aerodynamic. The missions can get a bit repetitive, but in the end, this is quite a game. Two thumbs up from me.
