After quite enjoying Final Fantasy X, I was excited to order the sequel. Starting off I quite enjoyed it - the class system and the team. However, eventually it just became tedious. If you want to do the game well, in every chapter you must pretty much travel the whole world, so that's at least 5 times. Not to mention when you gain the CommSphere, and have to watch endless videos just to get 100% in the game for the special ending. Also, it is very random and incoherent at times. Most of it seems to revolve around Yuna performing in a concert or just generally singing. Brother just seems to talk about Yuna dancing and that's it, a little annoying after a while after being comedic the first 2 or 3 times. Despite the general dislike in the story, the gameplay was quite fun. During battles, you could change class and really customise your characters. There are many classes to choose from so has some replay-ability factor. The new character, Paine, is quite good. I enjoyed her sarcastic humour when talking with Riku's expressive and outgoing behaviour. Riku is the same, if not, more fun. This is good, she's awesome. I still don't really like the character or Yuna, but at least now she is a little less boring.
Overall, if you're looking for a sequel for the story line, you will probably be dissapointed by this game. The battle system was quite fun and different, but does not make up for the weak story - especially when compared to the first one. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews

This game is more of a P*** take than anything else. I would only buy this game is your a avid Final fantasy fan and want them all for your collection or if you 100% loved FFX. but it does in no way live upto the great FF's like VII, VIII, IX. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews

How is this rare? Its not and its rubbish. get it for 50p at a car boot sale.

The title has changed but the principle is the same, don't get ripped for a common, rubbish game. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews
