I made a purchase and an email was sent to me to confirm the DS would be dispatched on the same day but that was the last thing I heard from fishpond. After that the DS no longer shows up on my order, as if I have never placed an order before. The price has then gone up drastically, even more expensive than the market price in my own country. I wrote a couple of emails to fishpond to check on the status and there was no reply. What kind of customer service is that?? Since they are still selling it on the site I just had to assume they deleted my order because the original price was a fraud. I am furious and feel cheated. I will never buy on this site again. Other customers be very careful.
This is a fun console and very entertaining for kids. Personally, I preferred the Lite version without the XL as the XL was a bit big, but this is still better than the Nintendo 3DS one as it is easier on the eyes. A little bit pricey compared to the other stuff you can buy, and the graphics are not very good. Still a good gadget to have.
After ordering one for $159 on 07/04/11 and being told its coming on 18/04 than delayed should arrive on 21/04 than finally I've been told they run out of the stock??? WTF???
Beware ordering anything from fishpond, they are not to be trusted and btw they are still selling the same item for $250??

Mine was shipped from UK. Has European power plug on charger, cant charge it. Australia isn't listed as a country in the
set-up menu, you have too choose one of the European countries, so when you want to DSi shop you are linked to European region like Germany!
My question is whats the point? this ds is like any other but has a larger screen for old people! And not to mention the price tag is more as well... And if that wasnt enough, there is a new 3d dsi coming out so why buy this one? Okay if you are a gamer who doesnt have a ds and is over the age of 35 it should be fine but for all younger gamers- theres no damn point! Stick with the origional. not to mention the disgusting character
