Just when you thought it had gone away for good, the Annoying Thing (Crazy Frog to you and me) is back in Turtle Games' imaginatively-titled Crazy Frog Racer 2 for PS2. There was much hoo-hah (and no little gnashing of teeth from some infidels) in winter 2005 when the original CF game appeared, with all the frog's utterances intact. We thought it was a pretty good game overall; kind of a cross between F-Zero and WipeOut - we kid you not! Crazy Frog Racer 2 doesn't fiddle with the winning formula, you'll be glad to hear.
In Crazy Frog Racer 2, you can get all interactive with the 'Ding Ding!' madness and race as either the Annoying Thing or one of his friends - the Evil General or Torpedo Drone - as you race around the varied circuits of the Crazy Frog world, such as the cityscape of Axel F or the beaches of Popcorn. Weapons to wield while you're racing include toxic clouds, death spin mines, and erm, flash photography! There is also a selection of mini-games to unlock that includes Dance Crazy Frog! and Pinball.
I loved this, it was so much fun I don’t even remember how long my friends and my family have spent on it! It’s a family game and you can play by yourself if you are really keen. My two sisters and I spent hours on it one weekend; it is a good way to avoid the dreaded assignment you have due in on the Monday I probably wouldn’t recommend it to parents in that case but kinds get out and get it, it is definitely worth it! JUST DO IT!
