I bought this game yesterday and the rod broke within two hours of opening the box. As to the game, its not bad, feels very outdated despite being new, and is extremely american. Gets a little boring until the fish come along, then frustrating when they keep breaking your line. In that sense its quite realistic. The rod is a useless piece of plastic, which you dont need to play the game. If you love fishing, you'll like this game, just dont expect it to be amazing, its ok at best.
