Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland gets a Tim Burton re-imagining in 2010, and to coincide with the film's release you can follow in the plucky heroine's footsteps in this computer game tie-in. Here, you must guide and protect an adult Alice as she journeys through Underland, a trippy world ruled by the Red Queen.

It's not all bad news, as Alice's friends are still in this confusing land. The Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat can be called throughout the game to help overcome traps and solve puzzles.

With the Hatter, you can change Alice's perception of Underland and view various optical illusions in a new light, opening up new areas that you would not have noticed on your own. The Cheshire Cat can make objects appear and disappear to help you progress. Combining these abilities are key to facing the Red Queen and restoring Underland back into Wonderland.

In the Nintendo DS version of Alice in Wonderland, expect a new twist in the psychotic world as you get treated to a whole different art style. A cartoony 2D experience allows for fans to see Burton's work in a new way, with a brand new character added exclusively for the handheld version to boot. You lead Alice around the world using an oracle to create a path for her to travel. For DSi players, you can use the camera to detect colours at various points in the game, unlocking bonus content.
