About the Author

Clive Edwards is a leading authority on the history of design and interiors, and is Professor of Design History at Loughborough University, UK. After a career in the retailing of furniture and interiors he took an MA in the History of Design at the Royal College of Art/Victoria and Albert Museum and subsequently completed a PhD on Victorian furniture technology. Edwards is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and he is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Design History. Min Hogg, founding editor of internationally celebrated magazine The World of Interiors for two decades, is a passionate advocate of the stylish and well-designed space and is a world-renowned expert in the art of the interior.
