About the Author

Anne Hoang placed her birth daughter in an open adoption at the age of seventeen. Now in her thirties, she wrote this book as a way to explain the adoption to her four-year-old daughter. She lives with her family in Portland, Oregon. Marie Egertson recently finished high school and is in college studying to be an art therapist. Marie is an adopted child with an older brother who was also adopted, giving the art in this book a very personal touch.
