I bought Alison Holst's first Slow Cooker Cookbook and loved it. I was, frankly, rather dubious about how many new ideas they could actually come up with to justify another Slow Cooker cookbook - and I was really really happy that they did so well with this new one! From the chutney recipe to the Self-Saucing Chocolate Pudding, I've used this book on a weekly basis since I got it. If you have a slow cooker gathering dust in your cupboard, and especially if you are a busy parent or working out of the home and lack time to whip up interesting, tasty, nutritious meals at the end of a long day, you NEED this book!
The Chocolate Pudding alone is worth the purchase price!
So far I have only made one of the recipes out of this book and it was really very nice. Everyone loved it and I thought that it was nice and easy to make.
