About the Author
Tim Hopgood worked as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator for 20 years, before turning his hand to children's books. WOW! SAID THE OWL follows the hugely successful A DOG CALLED ROD (978-1-4050-9269-2) shortlisted for both the Red House Book Award and the British Book Design Awards and OUR BIG BLUE SOFA (978-1-4050-9074-2) which was longlisted for the prestigious Kate Greenaway medal. In 2008 he won Best Emerging Illustrator at the Booktrust Early Years Awards for his third book, HERE COMES FRANKIE (978-0-230-70646-0). He is married with two teenage children and lives in the centre of York.

This is an amazing book to teach littlies about colours. My just 3 yr old boy has no interest in learning any of this stuff but had this from library and he loved it and is now repeating the colours and pointing to them. I have just bought it from here to continue him learning and remembering them. I really rate this book for learning their colours, the pictures are adorable too.
