This book is fantastic. I recommend it to all new parents, and I think this would be the PERFECT baby shower present. I borrowed it from my local library to start with, and after renewing it a 4th time, decided it would be better off just buying it! It haas really helped my patience and understanding of what my daughter is going through developmentally for the first year of her life, and what I can do to support her. I find I get less frustrated with rough patches if I pick up The Wonder Weeks and read about what she's going throgh. Often, I find she is in a "development" phase, and being unsettled is common, and that really helps me know that its not just me!

I had never heard of wonder weeks before my daughter went through her first at 12 weeks. This book was really helpful because we often think our babies are just being fussy for no reason. Reading about the different development stages and corresponding wonder weeks has been very interesting. I would recommend this book to any new mum or as a baby shower present.
