I enjoyed the writing style - a nice change from the dry style books of this nature so often adopt. It is interesting to read the traditional tales and have their deeper meaning uncovered by a story teller. I especially liked the unravelling of the tale of Bluebeard, and the Twelve Dancing Princesses. I would recommend this book - it is quite different to anything I've read for a long time.
