This is a fascinating story that follows the activities of endless colours of sheep and consistently follows up with "but where is the green sheep?" Little children listen intensely to hear the outcome, wanting to hear what becomes of the elusive green sheep. The use of simple wording and rhyme make the story captivating and enjoyable which keeps children listening right to the end.
