Where did I come from? is a great book for explaining to your child in an easy manner. It is full of information on every page and has illustrations to go with the information. Most of these illustartions are funny.
This book is brimming with information and by reading it you will receive all the info oyu ever need to know about where I came from.

Just as I remember when I was young!! "Where Did I Come From?" puts your youngster in the picture in a no nonsense way, which I think is what a lot of parents find incredibly hard to do themselves (especially on this topic)! Although I should have probably read it to my son earlier (he's now 8 years old), he enjoyed the book and now considers himself well educated on the topic! Thoroughly recommended for all parents who want their kids to learn factual information on reproduction in a light hearted way.

This is an excellent book with good pictures and easy to understand language. I had this book when I was growing up and searched to find it for my children.

Purchased this to read with my 7 year old son after he asked me how babies were made. I told him to 'hold that thought' while I got online to Fishpond and ordered 'Where did I come from?'. 7 days later, we sat down together and read the book. He loved the illustrations, and the language was perfectly targeted to a 7 year old, just enough information for him to be satisfied that his questions were answered seriously. He has come back to the book a couple of times again...he is particularly interested in the illustrations of how a baby grows month by month, so it is actually turning into a bit of a 'reference' book for him. My parents read this book to me when I was my son's age, and it still stands the test of time - definitely the gold standard of sex education books for under 10s. I highly recommend this if you want something to read to your kids that is both factual, but also written quite sensitively and with a light touch.

Ahhh.That age old awkward questionthat pops out of the mouth of every child at some stages of their lives....
And sometimes it's a little awkward for the parents to explain! Thankfully for this book, the use of age-appropriate writing and a child-friendly format, parnets now have an easier way of breaking the ice with their children without having to resort to stupid stories about santa popping them down the chimney ( cute while they're 3 but they won't believe you for long!)

An awesome book to teach children the all important facts of growing up and how bodies change in very simple, clear and illustrated in a fantastic way. I was shown this book when I was a child in the 1980s and 9 years later my younger sister was going through the curious stage and also got the 'pep' talk along with this book. I highly recommend it as an easily accessible library addition for youngsters and allow time for them to ponder its contents independently after you've gone through the book with them.

An excellent book that is a god send for parents who don't know how to broach the subject let alone explain it! Perfect for young and curious minds. My brother and I were given this book when we were at 'that' stage and it answered all those awkward questions. I highly recommend this book to all parents.

I f you're at that stage of your life where your children are starting to question how they got here, maybe this book is for you. Forgrt about any awkward or embarassing moments of explanations, this book simply and logically explains it all. With illustrations and simple wording, this book really is ideal for children with an interest in how they got here.
