You can't believe things like this can happen in our society, especially coming from a mother towards her children. I found the book to paint a very clear picture of what happen to these poor children but did tend to lose interest at the end during the prosecution stages, which is understandable especially after reading the harshness first, the prosecution seem to be so tame.
This story has to be read to be believed.The poor girl who told and told those in authority about what was happening in her family but no one ever responded.It is horrendous that anyone can treat a child in this manner but truly horrid when that adult is her mother.To be born to a psychopathic parent is more than any child should have to stand but this woman had three daughters she was able to torture in the privacy of her own home.
On the edge of your seat, suspenseful, with mind blowing twist and turn this book is well worth a read for any avid reader… No collection is complete without this title amongst it and one you read into the first few pages you will not be able to put it down. 5 stars!!!!
