Reviews

"A book all about possibility, imagination, and the wonders of the physical world." --Kirkus Online

"After introducing a series of shapes and colors, Rand invites readers to consider their possibilities with the question, What can I be?, before providing some creative examples that encourage little ones to think in new directions.... Both author and illustrator are architects, and their sophisticated sense of space is evident in the book's page design and individual pictures. The illustrations have a retro feel while still reflecting a child's sensibility, including animals, toys, plants, and other items that are within a young reader's frame of reference. A thought-provoking, riddle-like book with ample visual appeal." --Booklist

"With simple, inviting words, Rand constructs a poetic game of possibility.... Wondrous." --Brain Pickings
