Jan Godfrey is an experienced writer for children, with many published books to her name. She was formerly a schoolteacher and has recently retired to Dorset in the south of England with her husband, who is a Church of England clergyman.Chris Saunderson was born in London but brought up and education in South Africa. He works freelance, specialising in illustration, cartoon, design and fine art. Paula Doherty studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Chelsea School of Art. She has specialised in children's illustrated books for 15 years using a mixture of paint, collage and, more recently, Photoshop. She lives in Reigate in Surrey with her son, a dog and a cat. She likes to travel to new places, armed with a sketchbook, and to potter in the garden, take long walks with the dog, sew and make elaborate hand-cut paper cuts.
