Any therapist that works with women needs to read and use this book. It explains abuse to clients in a very simple, but powerful way and then tells them specifically what to do for each type of verbal abuse. The most loaned out book in my psychological practice! Life changing!
This book is valuable resource for life. Whilst it concentrates on verbal abusive relationships, it also covers points regarding behaviours that may not be easily recognised as verbal abuse. It is easy to read, and has clear specific yes/no questions to enable the reader to identify what consitutes verbal abuse.
