18 novels and two e-books since the Yuuzhan Vong War began, the war torn Jedi and Galactic Alliance forces are pushed to the edge of defeat. A chain of events is established in the opening lines of The Unifying Force, however, that brings renewed hope for victory. Featuring the largest scale battles in Star Wars EU history, James Luceno's third New Jedi Order novel is his finest, but is eclipsed by Troy Denning's Star by Star in terms of plot and character development. Regardless, The Unifying Force is a fun and often suspenseful read.

This is the last part in the series and its one of the best. Its full of the kind of back to wall drama star wars is known for. The last battle is fantastic and well worth the wait. I think the series is tied up well here and im looking forward to the next series. The yuuzhan vong have been a different enemy and an interesting way to change things up.

Out of all the book in this series this is the best one. Could not put this down.

Everything is on the line. Will the Vong win? Everything is in this book. And it closes the series out with a bang. It was hard to take when Chewie died that was the worst part of this series. But it is good to read a full interview with all the weriters at the end. They explain what they did and the arguements they had over who will die.

Great book get it for sure.
