This book is very good for those wanting an easy understanding of photographic exposure. It is very clear and simple to understand and includes heaps of colour photographs with all settings used etc. Excellent book.

One of the most recommended and useful books for photographers of all levels . Ask on any forum what book is recommended for learning photography and it will be this one . very well written and clearly explained and I got it
almost 50% cheaper on this site ;)

This book belongs in every enthusiast's library. Well, written, succinct but comprehensive enough and full of real world tips on making exposures in various lighting conditions.

The book thoroughly explains the definition of exposure, the creative use of apertures and shutterspeeds, different available lighting scenarios and special creative techniques in an understandable, jargon free way.

The book is worth the RRP let alone the discount price offered through Fishpond.

A great book! Bryan is not just a great Photographer and also writer and teacher. This book is very suitable for a beginner / intermediate Photographer. It also has some great exercise almost after each section. Will definitely buy more books by Bryan Peterson.

This is an excellent book that has plenty of useful information about exposure. I found myself using this book as a reference when out taking photos, great book definitely recommend.

It is a very useful book, especially it is the updated version. The book has good sample pictures and I found the book very useful for beginners and I think it is also useful even for experienced photographers.

This is a decent book however I feel it is "over recommended". It is a competent book, if somewhat basic. Many people say this book is a "must buy", but keep in mind that people still knew how to expose photographs properly before this book was written, so it's by no means "revolutionary".

Recommended for beginners. (Don't forget to practice what you read!)

I really like this book although it's considerably thinner than I expected. I love how they take different shots and actually tell you the settings for each shot and how to show should be taken. The book is divided into aperture, shutter speed, light, and special technicals and goes into each section quite well.
