This book is great. I wouldn't go so far as to say it is witty like the blurb says, but that shouldn't be what you're looking for with this book. It explains different subcultures and what is purely fashion and what is worn by subcultures, as well as different buzz words. It could have more 'normal' fashions, but every aesthetic is blended together, and there is a lot of focus on high fashion (it is mainly a mix of crazy teen styles and high fashion handbags). Despite the lack of text it still manages to be very informative.
