This was my husband's favourite book as a child so my mother in law bought me a copy when I had a baby. As this was the only children's book I owned at the time, this is the first book he was introduced to. He was only 2 months when I started reading it and he was completely absorbed. I would read this to him 5 times a day, loved it! Anytime he got cranky, out came the book. He is now a year old and although we have a library full of books, he still loves this book. Highly recommend!

I read this story to 25 4 year olds after they had been interested in tigers in their kindergarten, they loved it and thought it was hilarious! It is an absolute classic with beautiful illustrations. Highly recomended!

I loved this book as a little girl, and now I get to read it to my two little girls! The idea of a huge tiger turning up for tea is quite hilarious for kids; the naughty tiger eats and drinks everything in sight, but then Daddy saves the day when there is nothing left for dinner. I recommend it for readers with a sense of humour.
