I don't think I would have bought this if I had realised that all three were in one volume. Very unwieldy.

Simply brilliant. If you've seen the movies, hit yourself with a brink until you forget them, then read these books.
Ludlum is a prolific writer who's efforts can at times border on the mundane, but this is his greatest creation. The intricacy and character depth shown in this series is stunning, the action is real and in-your-face, and the mystery of who Jason Bourne really is will keep you on edge throughout.
This is an absolute must-have.

Robert Ludlum is the best thriller writer today- no doubt about it. His books truly transcend the genre. He constructs vivid characters and intriguing plot twists that surprise and intrigue the reader. These novels are always a great read! The new Covert 1 series is Ludlum at his best- just great!

Robert Ludlum's trio of international suspense novels featuring Jason Bourne have become a standard of measure for all who have longed to attain Ludlum's status as an author. The overwhelming success and continuing popularity of all three novels --- THE BOURNE IDENTITY, THE BOURNE SUPREMACY, and THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM is a remarkable feat seldom achieved by any author attempting to follow a bestseller with even a single sequel, let alone two. Although Ludlum penned a lengthy list of bestsellers throughout his career, (with many more yet to be published posthumously) it is the Bourne trilogy that became the coveted anchor in every fans' collection, elevating Ludlum's masterful saga into the enviable category of a twentieth century classic.

The classic trilogy from Robert Ludlum - "The Bourne Identity" is a ripper; a man has no memory, and slowly, with the help of a woman, finds out who he is - a dangerous man - an absolute page-turner! The two sequels - "Supremacy" & "Ultimatum" - are huge, think volumes, but they're pretty lame by comparison, with the third one having Bourne clashing with Carlos - you can just about get away with just reading the first one - IMHO
